Pradera Verde braces for title defense in PAL Ladies Interclub
PRADERA verde aims to extend its winning streak to two and defend its crown in the Philippine Airlines Ladies Interclub starting September 19 in Davao City.
The Lubao, Pampanga- based squad will lean on talented Yuka Saso and three other Malaysian age- groupers to compete for the crown at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club.
The Malaysian trio namely Zulaikah Nusiana Nasser, Charlayne Chong, and Vinisha Gunaseelan will complete the Pradera team with holdovers Annika Cayabyab, Nicole Abelar, Rhianne Malixi, and Luna Shin.
It won’t be the same championship team for Pradera Verde, which lost the service of last year’s players Harmie Constantino and Tonita Arejola.
Manila Southwoods, meanwhile, will be waiting for the proverbial final hour before it unveiled their line-up, with skip-
formula to avenge
its loss at the Country Club in Cebu last year. According to Ong, they have until
Asian Games representative Saso, in a statement sent to TheManilaTimes, said long hitters will be of advantage in the tournament that will draw the best players in the country.
