PSL tankers sizzle with 22 gold medals in Singapore
THE Philippine Swimming League (PSL) started its title retention bid on a high note, winning 22 gold, 19 silver and 16 bronze medals in the opening day of the 2018 Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) Invitational Swimming Championship being held at the SICC swimming pool in Singapore.
Palarong Pambansa Most Bemedalled Athlete Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh led the charge of the Team Philippines as she broke the Philippine junior record in the girls’ 12-13 100m butterfly via an impressive showing of 1:05.10.
She reset the 1:05.20 national mark of Camille Buico and the 1:09.12 SICC record of Vanessa Ong of Singapore.
Mojdeh also copped gold medals in the 200m IM (2:35.58) and 50m breaststroke (35.88).
