PAL cancels,delays flights in September

DUE to the temporary closure of the Cebu-Mactan Internatio­nal Airport’s runway to pave the way for repair and rehabilita­tion, Philippine Airlines (PAL) delayed or cancelled several flights from September 1 to 21, 2018.

The five-hour daily runway closure is from 1:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.

“All other flights outside this window period shall remain operationa­l,” PAL said in a statement said.

The following PAL flights were cancelled:

PR2682/PR2683 (September 1-21/Cebu-Busuanga- Cebu)

PR2295/PR2296 (September 1-21/Cebu- Cagayan de Oro- Cebu) PR2867 (August 31/Manila- Cebu) PR1836 (September 1-21/CebuManila)

PAL flights re-timed:

PR2380 (September 1-21/CebuIloilo)

PR2381 (September 1-21/IloiloCebu)

PR2285 (September 1-21/CebuBacolo­d)

PR2286 (September 1-21/ Bacolod- Cebu)

PR2236 (September 1-21/CebuTaclob­an)

PR2237 (September 1-21/ Tacloban- Cebu)

PR1841 (September 1-21/ Manila- Cebu)

The airline said that passengers of cancelled flights have been notified via email ( trip notificati­on) and/or call- out. The passengers of re-timed flights were also informed.

Passengers who booked through travel agents were advised to check with them their new flight schedules.

“We are seeking the understand­ing of our passengers as we make the necessary adjustment­s on our flight schedules to give way the much-needed runway repair work. We apologize for any inconvenie­nce caused by these schedule changes,” PAL said.
