Go lauds NCotabato’s unity in diversity

-

SPECIAL Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go lauded the different cultures and organizations in North Cotabato for remaining united amid diversity, and assured them of continuing government support.

Go was the guest of honor at the celebration of the 104th Founding Anniversary of the Province of North Cotabato on Sunday in Kidapawan City.

He said the different tribes and cultures in North Cotabato have been a positive force for the advancement and development of the province.

The President’s top aide led the ribbon cutting of the Agro-Fair and Market Market and Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), with both events showcasing the diversity and entrepreneurship of North Cotabato residents.

He relayed President Rodrigo Duterte’s commitment to further develop the province, noting that like the rest of Mindanao, it is rich in natural and human resources with high potential for growth.

“Rest assured the Duterte administration will always be by your side. North Cotabato’s development as well as the rest of Mindanao is one of the priorities of our President,” Go said.

He emphasized Duterte’s commitment to support MSMEs, saying the President concretized this when he signed an Executive Order in April laying out government’s development plan for MSMEs until 2022.

Go expressed confidence that Cotabato residents could easily sell their products upon completion of the Mindanao Railway Transit system, which is set to begin construction.

From North Cotabato, Go went to Davao City as guest of honor of the Synapse 2k18, an acquaintance party welcoming new Indian students to Davao City. There are around 5,000 Indian students in the city, most of them taking up medical courses.

Go was also at the 30th anniversary celebration of the Philippine Institute of Architects and lauded the members for their hard work in building the country. “President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and yours truly recognize the vital role that professional organizations play in making our country dynamic, progressive, and globally competitive,” he said.
