DAQUIGAN COPS SECOND IN ASIA CLASSIC CAR MALAYSIA RACE

THE Philippine’s lone representa­tive Dexter Daquigan collared second-place

Daquigan’s all-Filipino crew and team were able to tune his classic Mini Cooper to make it capture podium positions of the Classic Mini Championsh­ip and the bigger Asia Classic Car Challenge held during the same weekend at the Formula One track of Sepang. He scored two second places in the two Asia Classic races and second and third places in the two Classic Mini races.

The two winners that exchanged the top spots in the recent four races were Bachok and Mohanjit Singh, winning two races each. Even though there were different race winners, Daquigan would always be up there to pick up second place, which is already a big achievemen­t for him and his team as they were written off by the other race teams after their early dismal showings.
