Payatas, Batasan Hills residents benefit from PCSO-sponsored medical missions

Fraternity and Sorority (TPFS), the agency through its hardworkin­g workforce captivated the hearts of the people of the community particular­ly those from Lupang Pangako Urban Area B.

CWCSUAGI leader Marvin Belen , who is also the president of TPFS, expressed gratitude for PCSO’s speedy action on his request.

Earlier on August 24, PCSO Medical Services Department held its Annual Medical and Dental Mission at the Batasan Hills Northview 1 Covered Basketball Court serving a total of 227 patients – 188 for medical and 39 for dental. Free medicines were also distribute­d.

The Medical and Dental Mission is one of the programs and services of the Medical Services Department for its outreach health care activities in depressed communitie­s within and outside Metro Manila and nearby provinces. agencies, civic groups, religious organizati­ons and other government agencies.

The assistance also calls for referral to hospitals for diagnostic procedures and further management and to the Charity Assitance Department for availment of Individual Medical Assistance Program (IMAP) when needed.

Documentar­y requiremen­ts for a Medical and Dental Mission are: Letter of Request, addressed to the PCSO Chairman/General Manager, Provision of manpower to assist in the mission; Cosumption Report from previous request ( if any); and Project Proposal explaining Rationale, Objectives, and Clientele/Area Coverage.
