Benilde to offer fashion retail merchandising program

IT pays to know how to make a sale.

The School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPaCE) of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Program in Fashion Retail Merchandising to be held on some Saturdays in October and November 2018.

This module is designed to assist participants to gain a better understanding of the all-important industry cycle, supplemented by adoption theories, and provides insights, skills, and competencies required in the business.

Lectures include the intricate process on planning and purchasing, merchandising and costing, strategies and promotions, retail operations and marketing, and even organizing events.

The classes will be facilitated by Benilde’s Fashion Design and Merchandising Program Chairman Christine Benet, a 20- year- veteran of the industry who found her calling in mentoring students.

The fee of the entire program is P15,550. The four-day sessions are scheduled on October 20 and 27, and November 3 and 10, 0, 2018, from 12 noon to 7:30 p.m. .
