Naidoo, Guangko, Lee shine in Manila Southwoods members tilt

INDREN Naidoo copped the men’s division 1 title with 36 Stableford points while Philip Santos had 30 points to settle as first runner-up in the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club monthly members golf tournament held on August 26 in Carmona, Cavite.

Kim Seung Kwon scored 30 to beat Maico Angeles’ 28 in division 2.

Meanwhile, Art Caronongan carded 22 points to emerge as division 3 champion followed by Will Steedman with 20.

Marcelino Yu snatched the fourth division men’s trophy by winning four points ahead of his closest rival Hanson Lenard So, 16-12.

In senior’s division 1, San Jin Lee won by one, 37- 36, over runner- up Brian Park.

Ariel Abonal finished with 33 points to claim the senior’s division 2 diadem followed by Gus Adis with 31.

Division 3 winner Milton Lalisan posted 29 points beating Bert Lagaya’s 28. Bobby Montano clinched the Division 4 title after scoring 25 points against Rudy Gorra’s 24.

The Ladies champion, meanwhile, were Annika Guangko with 39 (Div. 1), Cheon Myung Lee with 24 (Div. 2), and Lanie Chavez with 19 points (Div. 3).

Jungolfer Shinichi Suzuki romped away with the boy’s title by beating Vince Tiamsic via countback after both players scored identical 30s.

Anya Cedo claimed the girl’s prized trophy with a six-point lead at 24 over Annika Chua’s 18.
