PCSO officials present briefer to House NL growth quadrangle committee

CHAIRMAN Anselmo Simeon Pinili, director Jesus Manuel Suntay and other officials of the Philippine Charity Sweepstake­s Office ( PCSO) presented the agency’s briefer on programs and assistance to the provinces of North Luzon upon the invitation of the House Committee on North Luzon Growth Quadrangle on September 5 at the Yñiguez Hall, South Wing Annex, House of Representa­tives, Quezon City.

The dialogue started with the presentati­on of the PCSO briefer by Northern and Central Luzon Department Manager Laila Galang, followed by the discussion that mainly revolved on what are the other programs and services the agency can offer to their constituen­ts. How local government units ( LGUs) can make use of their Small Town Lottery ( STL) shares without violating any laws or Commission on Audit (COA) regulation­s was also tackled during the discussion.

House Representa­tives present during the dialogue included Baguio City Lone District’s Mark Go, Committee Senior Vice Chairman and La Union First District’s Pablo Ortega, Ilocos Sur Second District’s Eric Singson, Pangasinan Second District’s Leopoldo Bataoil, Antipolo City Second District’s Romeo Acop, and Nueva Vizcaya Lone District’s Luisa Cuaresma.
