SPORTS SHOOTING COACH PRESENTS GUN SAFETY SEMINAR
THE Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers of the Philippines, Inc. (AFAD) will offer free seminars on responsible gun ownership at the 26th Defense & Sporting Arms Show (DSAS) Part 2 on November 15 to 19 at the SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
Ernie Claudio, a veteran sports shooting coach, will lead the Gun Safety and Responsible Gun Ownership Seminar during the five- day event. Claudio’s lecture will be held from 1p. m. to 1: 50 p. m. at the DSAS exhibit venue.
World shooting champ and AFAD President Jethro Dionisio, also, said the DSAS will also offer lectures on Crime Prevention and Skill Enhancement Orientation courtesy of the National Capital Region Police Office and Basic Rescue Training, Disaster Preparedness, and Crisis Management by the Philippine National Police Academy.
Jiu-jitsu and krav maga experts will also conduct seminars on basic selfdefense techniques at the venue.
Dionisio said the DSAS Part 2 gets even more exciting with new and wider array of firearms, ammunition and shooting apparel on display. He also calls on the public to avail of the Firearms Caravan, a joint undertaking by the AFAD and PNP whose aim is the swift processing of gun documents.
