Anchor Land enters Davao condo market

-

ANCHOR Land Holdings Inc. is foraying into the Davao property market with the groundbreaking of its 202 Peaklane project.

The 28-storey residential condominium will be built in a 4,000-square meter lot along C.M. Recto St. in Pobliacion District, the property firm said in a statement.

The development will offer over a thousand studio-type units with features such as as WiFi connections, key card access and digital locksets.

Anchor Land said 202 Peaklane will be marketed to university students, expatriates, starting families, tourists and entrepreneurs. “We saw the surge in demand for shortterm and long-term accommodations in Davao. 202 Peaklane will cater to these underserved needs of Davao’s rapidly growing real estate market,” Anchor Land President Elizabeth Ventura said.

“Upon turn over, each unit is already configured with an efficient set-up … investors will no longer worry about transforming the spaces into profitable and desirable accommodations in Davao,” Ventura added.

Shares of Anchor Land fell by 84 centavos on Friday, bucking a 0.14-percent gain for the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index.
