Diego Loyzaga in hospital for attempted suicide

Imee went viral and it elicited numerous negative comments directed at the TV star. With hardly any clue to the boy’s identity, Philippine Entertainm­ent Portal’s (PEP.Ph) Arniel Serato finally broke the news on Thursday that the subject is 23-year-old Diego Loyzaga, son of actor and disgraced Tourism Promotions Board COO Cesar Montano and his former actress- girlfriend Teresa Loyzaga.

Showing much spunk in his acting, netizens and some showbiz critics have refered to him as the “male and new generation version” of multi-awarded actress Maricel Soriano.

While Diego, who has stayed with mom Teresa all through growing up, he had said in previous interviews that he and his dad have been reconnecti­ng and spending time with each other. It is common knowledge in showbiz circles, however, that Loyzaga and Montano have not been on speaking terms for a very long time.
