Go supports Go Negosyo towards MSME development
FORMER Special Assistant to the President Bong Go pledged support to Go Negosyo’s goal of MSME Development.
In Go Negosyo’s Mentor Me On Wheels, which happened last Jan. 29 in SM Megamall, Go commits to helping micro entrepreneurs scale up through facilitating ease of doing business.
Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion said, “The President’s mandate is to support inclusivity most especially the growth of micro and small entrepreneurs. Bong Go is one of the reasons why our programs on entrepreneurship for the past three years has been supported by President Duterte. Basically the private sector and the government partnering together in helping our MSMEs in the Philippines is in the President’s heart towards the success of all. Bong Go serves as an instrument in bringing prioritizing and highlight inclusive growth for entrepreneurs.”
Concepcion was joined by Amb. Philippe Lhuillier, Philippine Ambassador to Spain; Jean Henri Lhuillier, president and CEO of Cebuana Lhuillier; Henry Lim Bon Liong, CEO of SL Agritech Corp.; Johnlu Koa, founder of French Baker and more than 100 franchise owners such as Samie Lim, PFA chairman emeritus; Dr. Alan Escalona, PFA chairman and CEO of Fruit Magic; Richard Sanz, president of PFA and president of Bibingkinitan; Joyce Co Yu, president of AFFI and Owner of Trueblends Tea and Coffee; Eric Caeg, AFFI chairman, president and CEO of RAP Training and Marketing Services; and Jorge Wieneke, vice president of AFFI and president and CEO of Tokyo Tempura.
This Mentor Me On Wheels is a free 1-on-1 mentoring session for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs. In this special session, Go Negosyo partnered with two of the biggest franchising organizations in the country—Philippine Franchise Association and Association of Filipino Franchisers Inc. Apart from this, 120 franchise owners from PFA and AFFI joined the mentoring session on franchising and shared knowledge to more than 600 aspiring and existing entrepreneurs and franchisees.
