Phoenix Petroleum opens stations in NCR’s south

LISTED Phoenix Petroleum Philippine­s Inc. is aggressive­ly expanding its retail network by opening new stations in the south of Metro Manila.

In a disclosure on Friday, the Dennis Uy-led company said it opened four new retail stations in Filinvest-Northgate, Madrigal Avenue and West Service Road in Muntinlupa City; and Alabang West in Las Piñas City.

These stations are the first ones in the two cities.

This also marked the series of network expansion efforts of the company in the southern portion of the metropolis.

“This year, we want to continue our momentum and do even better. Our aim is to continue strengthen­ing our brick andmortar and establishi­ng our presence nationwide by opening more retail stations,” Phoenix Petroleum Chief Operating Officer Henry Albert Fadullon said.

In the first half of the year alone, the company opened 30 new retail stations.

The opening of the new stations, equipped with a total of 30 pumps and locators, such as convenienc­e stores, restaurant­s, and car care services, fulfilled the firm’s long- time goal of penetratin­g the upscale market in the south.

During the grand opening on Friday, Phoenix Petroleum gave a special discount promo to motorists who gas up at the new gas stations.

Phoenix Discount and Phoenix Tsuper Card Grab cardholder­s were given P10 discount per liter on gasoline and P5 off per liter on diesel when they gas up at the new stations. The promo required no minimum purchase and was applicable to in- tank refills only.

Incorporat­ed in 2002, Phoenix Petroleum is into trading and marketing refined oil products, including liquefied petroleum gas and lubricants; operating oil depots and storage facilities; and offering hauling and into- plane services.
