Trinity teams with verification provider
IN line with its foundation week, Trinity University of Asia ( TUA) has partnered with leading verification provider TrueProfile. io in order for students and fresh graduates to check if their documents are authentic.
The partnership seeks to boost the global competitiveness of local scholars.
“As it celebrates its foundation week, TUA sets its sights on providing its students with more avenues for career enhancement by assisting them with their job applications overseas,” a statement from TrueProfile.io wrote.
“After graduating from TUA’s prominent health care program, their students often look to maximize their opportunities by applying to clinics and hospitals outside of the country.”
With T UA’s partnership with TrueProfile.io, this will provide fresh graduates a free education verification that will be used on their degree in the university.
It will be used to validate the applicant’s professional documents such as degree certificate, professional references, good standing certificates and professional licenses through its Primary Source Verification
“The verified documents are then stored on blockchain as a ‘ TrueProof’ which ensures applicants will be able to access and share their documents instantly with employers, regulators and authorities,” TrueProfile. io’s statement read.
According to TrueProfile. io cofounder René Seifert, through their technology, the process should be more convenient for Filipino graduates.
“In the advent of social media and modern hiring practices, employers are always within arms-length of the talent that they wish to hire,” he said. “We believe that the application process can be made more convenient for Filipino graduates as our technology provides them the simplest way to legitimize their applications. This is the first step to securing their future abroad.”
By partnering with more universities and partners in the coming year, TrueProfile.io seeks to develop deeper trust between international employers and Filipino graduates, linking local talent to the global market and decreasing time- to- hire in the employment process.
Over 300 students have signed up for this partnership, most of which come from TUA’s health care program.
