SHFC, Taysan sign virtual housing MOU for informal settlers
SOCIAL Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC), the lead government agency that ad–inisters socialized housing programs for low-income families, forged a partnership with the local government of Taysan, Batangas, for the implementation of the Co––unity Mortgage progra– (CMP) in the municipality.
Adapting to the new normal as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, SHFC President Atty. Arnolfo Ricardo Cabling and Mayor Grande Gutierrez signed the –e–orandum of understanding (MOU) in a videoconference on June 18 spearheaded by the Partner Relations Division and the Strategic
Communications Division.
SHFC Executive Vice President Atty. Junefe Payot, Operations Senior Vice President Atty. Leo Deocampo, SHFC South Luzon Operations Vice President Lito Manes and Municipal Planning and Development Head Engr. Bienvenido Briez Jr. witnessed the event that was broadcast live on SHFC’s Facebook page.
The virtual signing through videoconferencing technology was a first for SHFC and attests to the agency’s dedication to its mandate no matter the challenges.
