Lenovo flaunts ThinkBook capabilities for next-gen workforce
GLOBAL tech company Lenovo has presented its new model, ThinkBook 15, along with its ambassador, beauty queen Aya Fernandez.
As the millennials and Gen Z workers comprise 60 percent of the workforce, according to a 2019 study commissioned by Lenovo and conducted by Forrester Consulting 1, Lenovo developed the ThinkBook series to respond to the agile nature of young workers, offering enhanced connectivity, AI-based technology, and enterprise-level support.
A young entrepreneur and a millennial herself, the actressdancer leverages the businessgrade pre-loaded features of the device for enhanced work performance and boosted productivity.
“As ambassador for our ThinkBook series, Aya not only embodies the millennial spirit – tech-savvy, driven and diverse – but goes beyond expectations by balancing all her roles and responsibilities at the same time,” Lenovo Philippines President and General Manager Michael Ngan said.
ThinkBook 15 comes preinstalled with Skype for Business with designated Hot Keys, making video conferencing convenient. It also sports the ThinkShutter, a sliding cover for the webcam for privacy. Its battery life lasts up to 12 hours, and runs on Intel Core iW, guaranteeing swift and intelligent performance. It houses up to 24GB memory with up to 2TB storage.
As the Philippine workforce shifts to remote work due to quarantine restrictions, the ThinkBook series offers in-demand features and collaboration tools needed to deliver optimal productivity while allowing users to work with flexibility and mobility.
“The ThinkBook series was designed to keep up with the demands of the modern workplace and to allow its users to work onthe-go with utmost convenience. Because of the success of most businesses with this setup, it seems that the work-from-home arrangement is here to stay. Lenovo’s ThinkBook series helps businesses adjust well to this new norm,” Ngan noted.
