3,314 Bulacan students get aid

SOME 3,314 Bulakenyo students have received educationa­l assistance from the provincial government of Bulacan through the Tulong PangEdukas­yon para sa Kabataang Bulakenyo Program.

Gov. Daniel Fernando led the disTRIBUTI­ON TO THE BENEfiCIAR­IES OF CHECKS FOR fiNANCIAL EDUCATIONA­L ASSISTANCE IN DIFFERENT OFfiCES AT THE CAPITOL GROUNDS in the City of Malolos.

He said over 300 students each received a check daily and that the organizers limited the number of recipients to 10 students every venue to observe social distancing.

Students who are eyeing master’s degrees received P5,000 ( good for one semester) and seminarian­s got P5,500 ( also good for one semester), while P3,500 were given to Bulakenyo students from private universiti­es and colleges in and out of the province of Bulacan .

Fernando advised the students TO fiNISH THEIR STUDIES AND VALUE THE SACRIfiCES OF THEIR PARENTS JUST TO SEND them to school.

“No parent wants bad for their CHILDREN. SO, TRY TO fiNISH YOUR STUDIES because it’s not like material things. Your education and wisdom will not be taken or stolen from you,” he said.

Meanwhile, Pandi town Mayor Enrico Roque also distribute­d educationa­l assistance to more than 2,000 high school and college students.

He said students needed to maintain high grades in order to be included in the Pandi local government’s scholarshi­p program.

From 2010 to 2020, the Buacan provincial government provided educationa­l assistance to over 110,000 Bulakenyo students through the Tulong Pang-Edukasyon para sa Kabataang Bulakenyo Program.
