CIMB Bank Philippines recently added two awards, making it the most awarded digital bank in the country with a total of 12 awards in just 18 months.

CIMB was recognized as the Innovative Digital Bank of the Year by The European, whose awards panel is made up of former Fortune 500 individuals, global experts and industry leaders. Also, CFI.co awarded CIMB as the Philippines’ Best Digital Banking Solutions.

The bank has solidified its position as a partnership-centric digital bank by strengthening and expanding its strategic partnership with GCash to further widen the reach of financial services products and solutions to all Filipinos with the collaboration to power GCredit, a revolving credit facility available to GCash users. Today, CIMB is already providing GCash users with GCash Save Money solution, which is an innovative and first-of-its-kind digital high interest savings account that can be opened and activated directly from the GCash app in less than 10 minutes.

GCredit, which works like a flexible loan or credit card, gives GCash customers access to money that they can use to perform transactions. Any GCash user with an eligible GScore may be eligible for the GCredit revolving loan. GCash and CIMB are already working through the necessary regulatory approvals.

CIMB also provides its all-digital Personal Loan, which enables Filipinos to loan up to P1 million through a seamless, fast and secure digital application that requires no face-to-face interactions, zero processing fees and zero transaction fees.
