This was followed by the common yoga protocol session led by yoga instructor in the Philippines Chandru Mahtani. The event, which was also supported by Art of Living Foundation in the Philippines, saw significant number of viewing and shares on the Embassy of India’s Facebook page.
The Embassy also organized a photo competition themed “Let’s Yoga for a healthy
Pilipinas ” to commemorate the International Yoga Day.
Yoga is the 5,000-year- old ancient scientific tradition of India which aims to unite mind, body and soul. With this, yoga is not just a set of exercises to keep the body fit, but it is a holistic way to fitness and well-being, which may prove very effective in enduring the pandemic.
