OIL COMPANIES HIKE LPG PRICES

OIL companies on Wednesday raised the prices of liquefied petroleum gas ( LPG) products, a month after implementing a minimal rollback.

Petron and Phoenix LPG Philippines increased their prices by 50 centavos per kilogram (kg) while Solane slashed the cost of LPG by 45 centavos per kg.

Cleanfuel, Petron and Phoenix LPG Philippines also jacked up the price of AutoLPG by 30 centavos per liter.

Last month, oil firms reduced the price of LPG by 30 centavos per kg or about P3.30 per 11-kg cylinder, as well as the price of AutoLPG by 17 centavos per liter.

Prices of household LPG in Metro Manila ranged from P532.70 to P850.40 per 11- kg cylinder as of June, based on the latest data from the Department of Energy.
