PHOENIX PETROLEUM UNIT SUPPLIES BITUMEN PRODUCTS

PHOENIX Petroleum Philippine­s Inc. is now offering bitumen products after its subsidiary completed the first phase of its asphalt plant in Calaca town, Batangas province. In a disclosure on Wednesday, the Dennis Uy-led oil company said Phoenix Asphalt Philippine­s Inc.’s facility would supply bitumen products to contractor­s in the country. The facility features two vertical storage tanks that can accommodat­e 6,200 metric tons of bitumen asphalt 60/70, and a penetratio­n guide bitumen for hot mix asphalt used in road constructi­on. It also has a loading gantry equipped with two loading bays and with a weighbridg­e capacity of 80 metric tons, as well as a 2.5 million-kilocalori­e capacity hot oil unit and backup generator unit with 350 kilovolt-ampere capacity. The plant has a fleet of delivery trucks that can bring Phoenix Asphalt products directly to clients. Phoenix Petroleum shares fell by 2 centavos or 0.17 percent to end at P11.44 each on Wednesday.
