PHOENIX PETROLEUM UNIT SUPPLIES BITUMEN PRODUCTS
PHOENIX Petroleum Philippines Inc. is now offering bitumen products after its subsidiary completed the first phase of its asphalt plant in Calaca town, Batangas province. In a disclosure on Wednesday, the Dennis Uy-led oil company said Phoenix Asphalt Philippines Inc.’s facility would supply bitumen products to contractors in the country. The facility features two vertical storage tanks that can accommodate 6,200 metric tons of bitumen asphalt 60/70, and a penetration guide bitumen for hot mix asphalt used in road construction. It also has a loading gantry equipped with two loading bays and with a weighbridge capacity of 80 metric tons, as well as a 2.5 million-kilocalorie capacity hot oil unit and backup generator unit with 350 kilovolt-ampere capacity. The plant has a fleet of delivery trucks that can bring Phoenix Asphalt products directly to clients. Phoenix Petroleum shares fell by 2 centavos or 0.17 percent to end at P11.44 each on Wednesday.
