Kormasinc no longer Vitarich’s majority stockholde­r

JERRY C. Angping reduced his holdings to 16,921,450 common shares, or 21.396 percent, from 18,421,450 common shares, or 23.292 percent, after he sold 1.5 million common shares in two trades. On June 18, 2020, his sales included 500,000 DIZ common shares and 1,000 common shares on June 22, 2020. The two sales at P7.68 each grossed him P11.52 million.

A public ownership report (POR) listed Angping as Dizon’s principal stockholde­r with direct ownership of 20,421,450 common shares, or 25.821 percent, of 79,087,487 outstandin­g DIZ common shares.

On June 18, 2020, DIZ opened trading at P7.84; hit a high of P7.97; dropped to P7.68; and closed at P7.69. On June 22, 2020, the stock opened at P7.64; hit a high of P7.78; dropped to P7.39; and closed at P7.75. It peaked at 30-day high of P7.97 on June 17, 2020 when it opened at P7.69; dropped to P7.56; and closed at P7.80. It fell to 30-day low of P6.81 on May 5, 2020 when it opened at P6.99; hit a high of P7.20; and closed the session at P7.20.

It sold on the following dates the following: 350 million common shares, or 11.459 percent, at P0.8329 each on June 18, 2020; 176,000 common shares, or 0.006 percent; 175 million common shares, or 5.73 percent, at P0.9000 each; 80,000 common shares, or 0.003 percent, at P0.8863 each; 30,000 common shares at P0.9000 each; and 50 million common shares, or 1.637 percent, at P0.08400 each.

The sale reduced Kormasinc’s ownership in Vitarich to 1,479,637,604 common shares, or 48.444 percent, from 2,054,947,604 common shares, or 67.28 percent of 3,054,334,014 outstandin­g VITA common shares.

A public ownership report ( POR) as of March 31, 2020 listed Kormasinc as Vitarich’s principal stockholde­r. As of cutoff date, it owned 2,180,420,604 common shares, or 71.388 percent.

When Kormasinc sold 575.31 million VITA common shares, the stock peaked at 30- day high of P1 on June 19, 2020 when it opened at P0.94; dropped to P0.90; and closed at P0.90. It fell to 30-day low of P0.75 on May 26, 2020 when it opened at P0.79; hit a high of P0.80; and closed at P0.76.

Jerry Liu, who gave his nationalit­y as Chinese, is vice president and corporate informatio­n officer of Cirtek Holdings Philippine­s Corp. (TECH), which has 419,063,353 outstandin­g common shares. He is also one of the company’s nine-member board with five regular and four independen­t. He used to own a nominal common share, which enables him to vote. He sold 183,888,558 TECH common shares, or 43.881 percent, at P8.69 each, on June 24, 2020. He is a member of the family that owns Camerton Inc.

A public ownership report ( POR) as of March 31, 2020 showed one principal stockholde­r in Camerton, which indirectly held 222,025,527 TECH common shares, or 52.981 percent.

On June 24, 2020, Cirtek opened at P8.88; hit a high of P8.91;dropped to P8.23; and closed at its low of P8.23. The stock peaked at 30-day high of P9.50 on June 19, 2020 when it opened trading at P9.45; dropped to a low of P8.60; and closed the session at P8.86. It fell to 30-day low of P7.04 on May 27, 2020 when it opened at P7.36; hit a high of P7.36; and closed at P7.30.

A general informatio­n sheet issued in 2019 listed Pepsi-Cola Products Philippine­s Inc. with outstandin­g 3,693,772,279 common shares, or of PIP’s authorized capital stock of 5 billion common shares. The GIS showed Lotte Corp., a Korean company with 1,559,390,432 PIP common shares, or 42.217 percent of outstandin­g. PCD Nominee Corp. held 771,461,453 common shares, or 20.885 percent, for nonFilipin­os, and 434,043,975, or 8.681 percent, for Filipinos. Quaker Global Investment­s B.V.

held 923,443,071 common shares or 18.469 percent.

Both Lotte and Quaker were listed as principal stockholde­rs in PIP’s public ownership report (POR) as of March 31, 2020. The two companies hold the same number of PIP common shares or 67.217 percent. PIP attributed to the public ownership of 1,210,738,667 common shares or 32.778 percent.

Pepsi-Cola peaked at a 30-day high of P1.92 on May 21, 2020 when it opened at P1.91; dropped to its opening of P1.91 and closed at its low of P1.91. It fell to 30-day low of P1.65 on June 11, 2020 when it opened at its high of P1.70; and closed at P1.69.

How would Pepsi-Cola increase its public stockholde­rs’ ownership if it is suspended? Just asking.
