ANSALE, PEREZ BANNER MOS WINNERS IN SPSA SWIMMING MEET

RICA Jane Ansale and Victor Perez spearheade­d the list of Most Outstandin­g Swimmer (MOS) awardees in Class A-B in the SPSA Rebuilding Champions Class ABC and Novice Meet Swim Series Leg 2 held at the Diliman Preparator­y School swimming pool in Quezon City.

Ansale of Thresher Sharks Swim Club collected 120 points to claim the MOS award in girls’ 9-year category while the Swimcare Aquatitans standout Perez also earned 120 points to secure the boys’ 16-over top honors.

Manuelle Louise Perez (girls’ 16-over), Master Charles Janda (boys’ 14-year), Andrei Samontanes (boys’ 13-year) and Bryx Russel Coronado (boys’ 7-year) also snared MOS awards in their respective divisions.

The other MOS winners in Class A are Peter Chua (8), Jacob Blanco (9), Cariga Lakan (10), Mowan Huesca (11) and Jan Rey Aquino (12) in boys’ class.

In girls’ division, Annika Orlina (8), Rica Ansale (9), Rafaelle Cruz (10), Shannen Balderas (11), Eunice Manara (12), Jamela Manocan (14) and Joana de Jesus (15) pocketed the MOS plums in their age-bands.

In Class B, the MOS winners are Rianne Aquino in girls’ 12year, Ronald Magat in boys’ 12-year and Zevi Sulit in boys’ 13-year.

Sharing the spotlight are MOS winners Ezra Discimulac­ion (7), Gabriel Lontayao (8), Jacob Blanco (9), Joshua Chua (10), Clint Billaoac (11), Reiss Dumadag (14), Allen Conda (15) and Aldrich Balderas (16-over) in boys.

The other MOS awardees are Zhandara Mijarez (8), Sofia Coliyat (9), Rafaelle Louise Cruz (10), Elisha Consuegra (11), Beatriz Abarquez (13), Diana Lucban (14), Joana Claren de Jesus (15) and Judith Morrison-Louie (16over) in girls.

“These are the future of Philippine swimming. We want to guide them and help them achieve their dreams of becoming great in their respective events,” said SPSA president Alex Papa.
