Ford PH achieves milestone with over 30K sales in 2023

FORD Philippines celebrated a significant achievement by surpassing the 30,000-unit sales milestone in 2023, a feat accomplished for the first time in six years. This milestone represents Ford’s third-highest full-year retail sales in the last decade, demonstrating the brand’s resilience and success in the competitive automotive market.

The full-year sales for 2023 recorded an impressive growth of 27 percent, totaling 31,320 units. The success can be attributed to the strong performance of Ford’s Next-Gen vehicle lineup, including popular models like the Ranger, Territory, and Everest.

The Ranger emerged as the top-selling Ford vehicle in 2023, with sales witnessing a substantial 16-percent increase to reach 13,234 units. Notably, it also secured the title of the best-selling 4x4 pickup truck in the country, boasting a remarkable 40-percent market share. The Ranger’s success was largely propelled by the introduction of the Ranger Raptor in the first half of 2023, designed and engineered by Ford Performance. This high-performance off-road pickup truck offers a powerful and efficient powertrain, smart technologies, and advanced safety features, enhancing the off-road driving experience.

The Territory significantly contributed to Ford’s robust retail performance, achieving sales of 9,119 units in the past year. Maintaining its leadership in the small SUV segment for the fourth consecutive year, the Territory commanded a market share of 44 percent. The launch of the Next-Gen Territory at the Manila International Auto Show in April 2023 further solidified its popularity, reaching over 5,000 sales within five months of its release and surpassing 25,000 total units sold since its debut in August 2020.

The Everest, a favorite among Filipino SUV enthusiasts, recorded a remarkable full-year sales growth of 142 percent, reaching 8,569 vehicles. Known for its blend of adventure-ready capability, exceptional comfort, and customer-focused technology, the Everest continues to attract a growing number of owners seeking a rugged yet refined SUV.

In 2023, Ford Philippines underscored its commitment to providing an enhanced ownership experience with the introduction of service convenience initiatives under the Ford Family Guarantee program. The Express Service, Pickup and Delivery, Online Service Booking, and Service Price Calculator were launched to streamline and simplify the service process for customers.

Ford also extended a five-year warranty for the Ranger, Everest, and Territory, reinforcing its commitment to a worry-free ownership experience.
