Corso Como 88 opens new flagship store at One Ayala
MULTI-BRAND store Corso Como 88, known for its exquisite collection of renowned Italian and European labels, has opened its largest store in the country on the third level of One Ayala, Makati.
Celebrities, influencers and VIP guests gathered at the grand opening event, which had the theme Nuovi Ricordi Di Lusso (“new luxe memories” in Italian).
As an homage to the new year, guests wore their best luxe white and gold ensembles to shop the night away. The event was a stylish salute to the clean slate that is 2024, and Corso Como 88’s new chapter.
During the event, founders Imelda Menguito-Sciandra and Valter Sciandra revealed that Corso Como 88 is now the official and exclusive distributors for several coveted bag brands and fragrance lines from Europe.
These include Jiano Bags, Biagini 1968, Buti Italia, Iacucci bags, Acqua dell’Elba and Bottega Italiana Spigo 1920 (BOIS 1920), a family-founded house popular for its elegant artisan perfumes.
Beyond its array of luxury items, the Corso Como 88 One Ayala store,
in itself, is a sight to behold, owing to the interior design expertise of Cecil Ravelas, an alumna of Instituto Marangoni.
Another highlight of the grand opening was a spectacular fashion presentation, where six male and female models strutted around the store clad in dazzling gold outfits accessorized with pieces from Corso Como 88’s new brands.
“Corso Como 88 is all about celebrating your unique style. We believe in treating yourself to pieces that reflect your personality, whether you’re a seasoned collector or just starting to build your wardrobe,” CEO Imelda Menguito-Sciandra stated.
