Acer presents exciting, cutting-edge laptops and gadgets at Consumer Electronics Show
ACER — a global leader in the ICT industry with a footprint in over 160 countries — proudly presented its latest and cutting-edge laptops and gadgets at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on the sidelines of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Finals on January 13 and 14 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Typically, during CES in Las Vegas, USA, which usually takes place in the first or second week of January, country leaders attend the event from around the PanAsia Pacific.
However, this year, the regional Acer leaders could not attend the CES due to logistics.
Acer introduced a wide range of innovative products — most of which are yet to be available in the market — that showcase the brand’s commitment to pushing technology boundaries and enhancing user experiences across different categories.
These products include the Acer Predator Connect X7 5G CPE and Predator Connect T7 Wi-Fi 7 Mesh Router, leveraging the power of the Qualcomm Immersive Home Platform and tri-band Wi-Fi 7 for stable connections and enhanced wireless gameplay.
These routers are equipped with intelligent software compatibility, supporting advanced network data detection, optimal prioritization for thousands of games, apps, and websites, and enhanced MU-MIMO and OFDMA across connected devices.
Meanwhile, the brand’s awardwinning Predator gaming line expands with new monitors — Predator Z57 featuring dual UHD resolution at 120 Hz; the Predator X39 and Predator X34 X with OLED panels; and the refreshed models of the Predator Helios 18 and Predator Helios 16 laptops, all outfitted with the latest Intel Core 14th gen processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPUs, enhancing performance through DLSS 3.5 technology’s AIenhanced graphics.
One of the most visited rooms at the CES was the one that showcased the Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition laptop and the Predator SpatialLabs View 27 gaming monitor. These devices elevate 3D content viewing and creation experiences. They feature Acer’s proprietary AI models to transform 2D content to 3D in real-time, along with other developer tools to fast-track 3D projects and extend support for creators across various fields.
To address the growing demand for healthy living, Acer ventured into the home essentials space by introducing Acerpure, an integrated solution offering highefficiency technological lifestyle products.
“Gaming is a key focus area, but outside PC, we’re diversifying into other areas, building further the Acer brand as a lifestyle as well and pushing services,” Acer Philippines Managing Director Sue Ong-Lim said in an interview.
Acerpure products feature smart integration app capabilities for easy control and monitoring. They are eco-friendly and engineered with the environment in mind for energy-efficient operations and minimal waste generation.
The product line includes the Acerpure Air Purifier Series, which cleanses the air and enhances indoor air circulation with advanced 3D Airflow Technology and a 4-in-1 HEPA filter, and the Acerpure Clean Series, offering powerful and efficient cleaning solutions for every home.
As part of its launch in the Philippines, international superstar Sandara Park joins Acerpure as its brand ambassador, perfectly representing its wholesome and clean qualities. Acerpure’s new web series featuring SB19 and Team Payaman will further promote Acerpure products and provide entertaining content for fans.’
Ultimately Lim said that Acer products, besides delivering reliable and satisfactory experiences, are also big on keeping up with sustainability.
“Sustainability is currently a key strategy for Acer. For almost 50 years, Acer has been an environmentally conscious company, although it wasn’t a deliberate strategy in the past because there wasn’t significant pressure in terms of addressing climate change. However, now it has truly become an integral part of Acer’s identity,” Lim said.
“The commitment to achieve RE100 renewable energy status by 2035 reflects our genuine progress toward that goal,” the executive said.
