VITRO Inc., a subsidiary of PLDT’s ICT arm, ePLDT, operates the data center business of the PLDT Group that supports digitalization across major metros. PLDT Enterprise’s drive to boost Smart Cities across the country is aligned with the Group’s support for the government’s nationwide digitalization thrust to bring THE BENEFITS OF THE INTERNET TO more communities through the continuous enhancement of the Group’s integrated fixed and wireless networks. It also forms part of the Group’s commitment as one of the founding members of the government-mandated Presidential Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) under the Digital Infrastructure Pillar.
In line with the government’s efforts to enhance talents and equip Filipino workers with digital skills and tools, the PLDT Group has also been boosting government initiatives to make their services more accessible through apps such as the eGovPH Super App – a platform for local and national services, LGU services, healthcare assistance, and e-payments.
