THE cast of the afternoon drama series “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso,” led by Loisa Andalio, Charlie Dizon, Alexa Ilacad, and Elisse Joson, are filled with pride and gratitude for the well of positive feedback from viewers as the show approaches its thrilling and action-packed finale.

At the series’ finale media conference, Andalio shared she learned more about herself as an actress through the project and intends to carry this newfound knowledge in her next assignments.

“This show put me under a lot of pressure, to be honest. But because the people I work with here have become like family to me, we chose to savor and enjoy all the challenges,” she began.

“It is also in this show that I discovered I can handle this kind of story, so I’m grateful to our writers for allowing me to showcase what else I can do. I’m excited about what’s next because, thanks to this show, I’m more motivated in life.”

Meanwhile, Joson also noted the positive response towards her villain role, contributing to her growth as an actress.

“Admittedly, at the start, I was extremely nervous. I was questioning myself if I could handle it. But as we did the daily tapings, I was very thankful for my colleagues who took such good care of me. The help they gave me was not just for me but for the entire show and everyone involved. They truly guided and were a part of Hilary’s journey, especially the three girls. I really formed a strong bond with them. It was a fun journey that’s difficult to let go of,” the young actress admitted.

For Ilacad, the upcoming finale is bittersweet, but she is also highly grateful to her co-stars and the strong bond they formed while filming the series.

“I am so proud of this show and each one of us. We’re finishing with flying colors and built a strong connection. I’m more proud of what we accomplished than being sad that it’s over.”

Lastly, Dizon thanked the viewers who kept the show trending online and even recorded an all-time high of 118,395 live concurrent views on Kapamilya Online Live in November 2023.

“To everyone who has been with ‘PiraPirasong Paraiso’ from the beginning until now, thank you very much. To all who made it trend, thank you, and we appreciate seeing your reactions. I am incredibly thankful to my colleagues in the cast because they made the work easier; I held onto all of them,” Dizon said.

“Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” is a collaborative series between ABS-CBN and TV5, directed by Raymund Ocampo and Roderick Lindayag.

In the finale, the much-anticipated reunion of Paraiso sisters Amy, Beth, and Diana (Andalio, Ilacad, and Dizon) with their father Daniel (Gardo Versoza) is in jeopardy as syndicate leader Criselda (Rosanna Roces), along with her allies Jacinda, Badong, and Hilary (Snooky Serna, Epy Quizon, and Joson) threaten their lives for revenge.

As Amy, Beth, and Diana strive to keep their family intact, the question remains: Can they still achieve a happy ending for their love stories with their respective partners Jonaf, Elon, and Vlad (Ronnie Alonte, KD Estrada, and Joseph Marco)?

“Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” airs weekdays through Saturdays at 3 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC.
