THE iconic big-screen couple, Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez, is set to rekindle the magic that captured the hearts of millions in their 2017 blockbuste­r hit, “Kita Kita.”This time, they grace the screen as the endearing characters Lola May Laurel and Lolo Evergillo Laurel in the highly anticipate­d movie, “May Forever.”

The film opens with the elderly couple, Lola May and Lolo Ever, being reluctantl­y relocated to an advanced Assisted Living Facility (ALF) by their children. Initially skeptical, the couple soon discovers the joy of living in a high-tech facility, especially when they realize their friends from yesteryear­s are also residents. The ALF becomes a backdrop for a heartwarmi­ng tale of love, friendship, and forgivenes­s.

As Lola May and Lolo Ever reminisce about their youth, the audience is taken on a nostalgic journey through their experience­s in 2024. Secrets, crushes, and untold stories resurface, creating a tapestry of emotions that resonates with the viewers. Alessandra de Rossi shines as Lola May Laurel, the outspoken and loving wife who chose Ever over numerous suitors in their youth. Opposite her, Empoy Marquez portrays Lolo Ever, the kind husband who, despite being a former delivery rider, now faces the comedic bullying from his beloved wife.

The supporting cast includes Michelle Vito as Nurse Vicky and Drei Arias as Nurse Chris, who add charm to the story. Archie Alemania as Lolo Rudy Buncalan, Vangie Labalan as Lola Amada, Anthony Ocampo as Lolo Brendon, TJ Valderrama as Lolo Tolits, Mitoy Yonting as Bruno Laurel, and Zach Francisco as T45, the robot nurse with a unique preference for timekeepin­g, complete the ensemble cast.
