Cleanfuel expands presence, alleviates price hikes

- JOHN REY SAN DIEGO

CLEANFUEL welcomed the new year with its latest addition to its expanding network of service stations. Located in Soro-Soro, Batangas, the brand’s newest station is strategically located in the thriving commercial area of the province.

The recently opened station is the first among many new branches slated to be inaugurated this year. Following its SoroSoro station, it is taking its network expansion further in Region 4A (Calabarzon) by opening three more stations in Batangas and another in Calauan, Laguna, all in 2024. The independent oil player will also be strengthening its presence in the Cordilleras with its upcoming station in Buguias, Benguet.

In Metro Manila, two new stations are set to be launched in Quezon City and another one along C5 in Taguig. It is also set to grow its reach in Rizal with three new upcoming service stations in Binangonan, Angono and Pililia. In Region 3 (Central Luzon), three new locations in Bulacan are set to be inaugurated this year.

Aside from the 14 upcoming branches that were mentioned, more service stations in key locations nationwide are set to be opened this 2024.

The network expansion serves true to the brand’s advocacy of bringing quality fuel for less to Filipino motorists. But aside from making its offerings more accessible to a wider market, the brand is also active in alleviating the burden of the weekly oil price hikes that have been suffered by many motorists.

“We are proud to inaugurate our new station in Soro-Soro to accommodate our loyal patrons in the southernmost part of Batangas. Batangas City is a fast-growing market in the Calabarzon region; aside from being a highly urbanized city, it also now hosts logistic services, from shipping lines to logistic support services. This is an excellent opportunity for us to provide the fuel requirements of these companies,” said Cleanfuel President and Chief Executive Officer Jesus “Bong” Suntay.

He said that during oil price hikes, they make sure to increase prices late, giving more time for consumers to avail cheaper gas prices. And during rollbacks, Cleanfuel sees to it that lowered prices take effectivity as soon as possible.

Aside from offering competitive fuel pricing, another effort to help its patrons with the weekly hike is its new Cleanfuel Rewards App. Launched in November last year, the new mobile app is designed to allow customers to conveniently access perks from loyalty rewards, earn points, redeem item rewards, and stay updated with promos and discounts.

The mobile rewards app integrates fuel savings, and loyalty rewards collection, all in an easy-to-use interface. For every liter of fuel purchased, Cleanfuel customers can collect points that can later be redeemed for perks including fuel discounts.
