Bong Revilla ensures thrills and laughs as action series returns

-

THERE is no doubt from the trailers of “Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis” that the second season of actor senator Bong Revilla Jr.’s highly successful GMA Network sitcom is bigger and better than ever. The show, which is set to premiere this Sunday, February 4, looks every bit like a major action movie, complete with daring stunts and possibly the most explosive car scene ever seen in Philippine TV history.

Nevertheless, what stands out is the program’s ability to perfectly capture the Filipino’s humor in its skits and jokes — something Revilla makes sure of with his writers.

Because just like the bills he files and passes in the Senate — “Revilla Bill”, which seeks to expand the coverage of Republic Act No. 10868 or the “Centenarians Act of 2016” to elders who are also reaching the age of 80 and 90; or the “Kabalikat sa Pagtuturo Act” which aims to institutionalize the annual teaching allowance being received by public school teachers

— he gives his audiences as an actor the kind of thrill and laughs they so need amid life’s daily challenges.

The much-anticipated series follows the adventures of Major Bartolome “Tolome” Reynaldo, a police major known for his brave dedication to catching criminals. He is famous for fearing absolutely no one–except his feisty yet devoted wife, Gloria.

In this latest season of Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis, fans should definitely not miss out on the entertaining mix of unique and exciting cast members, both new and returning.
