Newest Mad Cafe franchise has its blessings

THE Mad Café branch, the latest café and restaurant franchise to hit the town, had its blessing at SM Araneta City in Quezon City on January 27.

A short program for the blessing was held and hosted by Ferdinand “Principe Makata” Clemente.

Franchise owner Anna Donita Tapay proudly boasted its branch specialtie­s: Kare-kare, steak and sisig. The store was her latest business acquisitio­n.

The entity’s other prides included the establishm­ent’s unique business model, themes, great food and spaces that are perfect for families.

The branch would offer cinnamon dolce latte, matcha espresso and oreo espresso, among others. For dessert, it offered churro waffles, mango French toast, biscoff French toast, pup cup, plus other choices.

Tapay said the cafe would offer a lot of specialtie­s, including pasta such creamy carbonara and chili sardines. For main courses, it would offer crispy pork sisig, beef pares rice, steak sunrise bowl and crispy pork binagoonga­n. Chicken wings were also part of the menu. For sandwiches, it would offer the classic beef burger, meaty clubhouse sandwich, cheesestea­k tapa sandwich, seafood roll, breakfast waffle sandwich, and ube tres leches waffle and chicken.

Available appetizers would include crispy calamari, croquette, cheesy taco dip skillet, kani dip skillet, mozzarella cheese sticks, parmesan fries and mad fries. For salad, it offered bacon, lettuce and tomato shrimp salad, kani and mango salad, and mad salad. Kids’ meals were also on the menu, including meaty spaghetti with parmesan fries and mad wings with special mashed potatoes.
