Celebrate Chinese New Year with a well-curated, authentic spread

-

Open the year of the Wooden Dragon with authentic and sumptuous chinese dishes carefully curated by The Empress Dining Palace — a fine-dining chinese restaurant located at the heart of Bonifacio Global City.

The Empress Dining Palace serves classic Cantonese cuisine and selected dishes from the Northern region — from mouth-watering appetizers and savory, tender meats, down to its highly-prized seafood roster and delectable dim sum choices. It also offers an impressive range of refreshments and desserts.

The year of the Wooden Dragon is no different. This month, The Empress Dining Palace offers four dishes that include the following:

The Empress treasure pot. An assortment of 18 Chinese favorites in one pot that includes Peking duck, abalone, sea cucumber, prawn, white chicken and pork knuckles. The pot is filled to the brim with all the ingredients to symbolize prosperity through the year.

The “Yusheng” or the Empress prosperity toss salad. A symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigor is this dish that consists of raw fish, mixed with vegetables, sauces and condiments.

The Empress radish cake. An auspicious Chinese dish that has a word gao which in Chinese sounds like the word that connotes “tall” or “good fortune.”

The staple Empress glutinous rice cake. Also called Nian Gao in Mandarin, which directly means “year higher,” it is a symbol of achieving greatness or success in life.

Aside from the special Chinese set, The Empress Dining Palace also offers take-away products that are perfect for private celebrations at home, for special occasions and for spreading the luck through gifting. The restaurant also offers customizable Hot Box Feasts and the Bountiful Dimsum Platters and Dimsum Baskets that are perfect for gifting.

Patrons are also welcome to an all-you-can dimsum weekend breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. “As we enter our fifth year this 2024, we look forward to expanding our clientele and reaching more people through excellent and authentic Chinese food. After all, our commitment as a company is to share the Chinese culture and bring people together, through fantastic food,” said The Empress Dining Palace COO Aida Velasco.

The Empress Dining Palace is located at 7th Avenue, Bonifacio High Street, BGC, Taguig City.
