Stratoppo CEO honored with Global Change Maker award
STRATOPPO Global founder and CEO MaryJane Salomon has been recognized with the prestigious Global Change Maker Award by Project 100, an esteemed international nonprofit organization based in India.
The award ceremony took place on Jan. 24, 2024, at Ambassador Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, amid a gathering of distinguished guests, influencers and global leaders from around the world.
The Global Change Maker award is bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, innovation, and dedication to effecting social impact and positive change in society.
Salomon’s groundbreaking contributions in her various community engagements and advocacy for women empowerment, protection of the elderly, children education and sports development in far-flung areas have significantly impacted communities, embodying the spirit of innovation and social responsibility.
“It is a tremendous honor to be recognized with the Global Change Maker Award. This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of all those who have supported and contributed to our mission of people empowerment. As the only Filipino awardee, standing side by side with change makers from around the world, I am humbly proud and deeply grateful to Project 100 organization and it’s organizer, for their unwavering support,” she said about her award.
Salomon is a social entrepreneur, a humanitarian and an advocate. She is the president of Stratoppo Women Association, an organization of women with the purpose of promoting community empowerment by providing livelihood projects through science and technology.
Just recently, she launched her community projects Ball Per Kid, a basketball program for kids at the grassroots; Water is Life initiative as an emergency response to typhoon and flooding in the most vulnerable communities; and BANKid, a project to educate children and instill the value of savings in the economically challenged areas of the country.
