MIKEE MOJDEH BANNERS MOS WINNERS IN BANGKOK
SWIM League Philippines ace swimmer Mikhael Jasper “Mikee” Mojdeh spearheaded the list of Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) awardees in the 2024 Asian Open School Invitational (AOSI) Aquatics Championships held at the Assumption University Aquatic Center Suvarnabhumi Campus in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Immaculate Heart of Mary CollegeParañaque collected 205 points to secure the boys’ eight-year division MOS trophy on his first-ever international stint.
Mojdeh made it by virtue of his impressive showing in the three-day meet, winning three gold and five bronze medals — all in personal best times.

Jeremiah and coach Sherwyn. And to my parents (Joan and Modj). I will aim for more best time in my next competition,” said Mojdeh.
The future water beast is the younger brother of Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh, World Junior Championships semifinalist and Philippine national junior record holder.
Besides Mikhael Jasper, nine more members of the strong SLP squad earned MOS awards, including Palarong Pambansa champion Aishel Cid Evangelista.
The Emilio Aguinaldo College standout got 217 points in the boys’ 12-13 on three-gold, one-silver and threebronze performance.
Also winning MOS plums in their respective classes are Kevin Arguzon (boys’ 16-17), Arbeen Miguel Thruelen (boys’ 18-over), Ignacio
Javier Avellanosa (boys’ 6-under), Alarie Somuelo (girls’ 18-over), Mikaela Ruth Crystal (girls’ 16-17), Sophia Rose Garra (girls’ 10-11), Audrey Erica Atchico (girls’ 8-year) and Ylaenna Lonzaga (girls’ 7-year).
Arguzon scored 314 from five golds, two silvers and one bronze, while Thruelen earned 192 points following his two-gold, five-silver and one-bronze output.
On the other hand, Avellanosa had 69 points with two silvers and one bronze while Somuelo nailed 346 points with five golds and four silvers, Crystal listed 139 points with one gold, one silver and five bronzes, Garra obtained 372 points with six golds and three silvers, Atchico gained 89 points with three silvers and Lonzaga secured 120 points with one gold and two silvers.
