Sofitel highlights elevated Korean cuisine with Chef Lily Min
SOFITEL Manila takes the rich and colorful flavors from the Land of the Morning Calm into an exciting feast this February in collaboration with Korean cuisine expert chef Lily Min.
With more than three decades of culinary experience from her studies to her expertise training courses, Min specializes in vast culinary set skills, which includes confectionary and bread courses, Korean traditional cuisine, extensive Korean kimchimaking, Chinese culinary cuisine, and her most notable culinary expertise, Korean royal cuisine.
Her mastery of Korean culinary artistry led her to be a renowned cookbook author of three books, “Preo & Dios Cookbook” and “Easy Korean Food 114,” both published in South Korea; and the “K-drama Cookbook” released and published in 2020 in the Philippines.
Recognized as the Ambassador of Korean Cuisine in the country, she also offers cooking classes at the Korean Culture Center of the Philippines.
Until March 2024, Min takes center stage at the Metro’s Best City Hotel, Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila.

The Korean chef highlights one of her signature dishes at Le Bar, Sofitel Manila’s lobby restaurant and lounge. A tender and decadent beef patty served with a refreshing salad, Le Bar offers Ddeokgalbi or Korean minced, seasoned, and grilled beef ribs.
