Inchcape PH opens first Daimler Truck Joint Multi-Brand Dealership
INCHCAPE Philippines has opened the first Daimler Truck Joint Multi-Brand Dealership in the Philippines, in partnership with Sojitz FUSO Philippines Corp. (SFP). The facility, operated by iCATS Motors Inc. will sell both Mercedes-Benz and FUSO trucks and buses, offering sales and after-sales services for commercial vehicles ranging from light to heavy-duty.
This joint venture represents a robust partnership, demonstrating Daimler Commercial Vehicles Southeast Asia’s commitment to its partners and addressing the transportation market’s mobility needs with high-quality, durable products.
Strategically located at 45 Mindanao Avenue corner Alley 15, Quezon City, near the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx), the full-service facility features a display area and is equipped with special tools and work bays.
The launch event for the dealership was attended by Inchcape Philippines’ leadership team, including Alex Hammett, managing director of South Asia and Pacific, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frankie Ang, alongside the Sojitz FUSO Philippines delegation, led by President and CEO Yosuke Nishi and Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing, Noriyuki Sekita. Business partners, network customers, and distinguished guests witnessed the ribbon-cutting ceremonies.
Hammett said that the partnership signifies Inchcape’s commitment to delivering high-quality products to the country, while Nishi stated that it reflects SFP’s dedication to providing international quality products and services and expanding its connections in the country.
Mercedes-Benz Trucks and FUSO, both under the Daimler Truck umbrella, continue to strengthen their presence in Southeast Asia. The joint facility reinforces Daimler Truck’s commitment to the Philippine market and signals a new era of growth for the Philippine automotive industry.
At the same time, Inchcape Philippines announced the appointment of Alpine Motors Corp. in Carmona, Cavite as its Mercedes-Benz Truck Dealer for sales, service, and spare parts. This outlet, located on a 1,957-square meter facility, features a truck display area and two dedicated work bays, making it the first Daimler Truck Multi-Brand Dealer in Southern Luzon.
