Sparkle launches ‘kilig series’ stars
SPARKLE GMA Artist Center joins in on the kilig festivities of love month as it launches two rising pairings — Ashley Sarmiento and Marco Masa, Princess Aliyah and Bryce Eusebio.
Both in their youths, “AshCo” and “PrYce” are here to prove that young love can be wholesome, pure, and gentle.
The two love teams join Allen Ansay and Sofia Pablo in Sparkle’s first-ever “TikTok Kilig Series” running until February 29 on the GMA talent management arm’s TikTok account.
Sparkle’s TikTok Kilig Series is a series of short, funny, and kilig skits.
Witness Sarmiento and Masa’s connection in “Secret Notes” which runs until today, February 14.
Fans and fellow gamers can also look forward to Aliyah and Eusebio’s budding friendship in “Beyond the Game” which will run from February 16 to 22.
Finally, Pablo and Ansay will also star in Sparkle’s “Mystery Girl” which will run from February 24 to 29.
‘AshCo’
Initially launched as part of Sparkle Teens, Sarmiento and Masa’s natural chemistry brought them closer together and birthed a pairing of their own.
The two started their careers as child stars but today, Sarmiento is dubbed as a leading lady in the making and a charismatic actress having starred in Kapuso shows such as “Nakarehas na Puso,” and “Luv Is: Love At First Read.” She’s currently stars in the hit GMA series “Black Rider.”
Masa, on the other hand, has been eyed as a drama actor in the making having starred in Kapuso shows such as “Start-Up PH,” and “Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko: The Chinese Lion,” among others. He is also currently part of “Black Rider.”
Sarmiento and Masa — or AshCo — have been earning huge following on their respective social media accounts. With their TikTok videos and Instagram posts being a hit with the Gen Z audience, these two are the stars to watch out for.
‘PrYce’
Meanwhile, Aliyah and Eusebio — or PrYce — were part of the Sparkle Teens but as they grow out of their comfortable shell, they are trying their hand at being a love team.
Aliyah’s vocals know no bounds being cast in the prestigious London West End production of “The Sound of Music.” But apart from singing, she’s also making a name for herself in acting, having starred in various Kapuso shows such as “Sherlock Jr.,” “Onanay,” and “Royal Blood,” to name a few.
Her partner, Eusebio captivates everyone not just with his charm and kind smile but with his knack for acting as well. He has starred in hit Kapuso shows such as “Destined to be Yours,” “My Special Tatay,” and “The Missing Husband.” Alongside veteran actress Iza Calzado, he starred in the recently released horror film “Shake Rattle and Roll Extreme.”
With both of them being successful rising stars in their own right, their pairing couldn’t have been more perfect.
