FILIPINO singer Gwyn Dorado has just locked in a major milestone in her career, signing a lucrative fiveyear contract with South Korea’s AO Entertainm­ent. The move comes at the heels of her breakout hit, “Why Do We Love,” produced by Thrice Cooked USA, which skyrockete­d to the top of Spotify charts, amassing over a million streams and dominating the viral playlists in the Philippine­s for three consecutiv­e weeks. The single likewise drew more than 11 million views on TikTok. The American production group is renowned for its work with artists like Pink Sweat$.

Amid offers from several internatio­nal recording giants, Dorado chose AO Entertainm­ent for its comprehens­ive plans tailored to her multifacet­ed talents. In addition to singing and performing, the deal promises to hone her songwritin­g, composing, acting, and music production skills.

Dorado, who rose to fame as a grand finalist on “Asia’s Got Talent” at just 10 years old, sees this partnershi­p as an opportunit­y to refine her craft further.
