Celebrate the Year of the Wood Dragon at Century Park Hotel

-

CENTURY Park Hotel once again hosted a grand celebration to welcome the Year of the Wood Dragon with fervor and excitement.

The festivities, held at the illustrious Atrium Lounge, were led by none other than the esteemed founder and chairman of LT Group, Dr. Lucio Tan, together with his family.

As a venue renowned for its dedication to honoring Chinese traditions, Century Park Hotel spared no effort in making this year’s Chinese New Year celebration truly memorable. On February 9, guests were treated to a spectacle of cultural performances, symbolizing prosperity, fortune and auspicious beginnings.

One of the highlights of the evening was the much-anticipated lion and dragon dance show. The dynamic and mesmerizing performance captivated the audience, filling the atmosphere with energy and excitement. Through the intricate movements of the lions and dragon, Century Park Hotel paid homage to centuries-old traditions, bringing joy and prosperity to all who witnessed the spectacle.

Moreover, the ceremony also included the traditional eye-dotting ritual, believed to awaken the spirits of the lion and dragon, thereby inviting blessings of luck, prosperity and good health for the coming year.

This ancient custom, performed with reverence and precision, added a profound spiritual dimension to the festivities.
