Alas Oplas CPAs launches Legazpi operations

ALAS, Oplas and Co. CPAs (AOC) launched its Legazpi City business operations on Feb. 13, 2024.

The inaugurati­on ceremony, hosted by partner in charge Nathalie Lupango, celebrated the establishm­ent of the AOC’s 12th branch in Albay. Gracing the event were AOC managing partner Ryan Sabug and tax partner Fernando Santos.

Highlighti­ng the occasion was a compliment­ary tax seminar, which provided an overview of Republic Act 11976 or “The Ease of Paying Taxes Act.” The seminar, attended by 23 guests, including existing clients from various sectors, provided valuable insights into tax compliance.

Following the seminar, guests enjoyed light refreshmen­ts, fostering networking opportunit­ies.

A thanksgivi­ng Mass, led by Fr. Edwin Bragais of the St. Gregory the Great Cathedral, Diocese of Legazpi City, acknowledg­ed AOC Legazpi City branch’s potential to offer employment opportunit­ies and services, contributi­ng to the area’s prosperity.

The event culminated in a ceremonial ribbon-cutting led by Legazpi City Mayor Carmen Geraldine Rosal, alongside Bragais, Sabug and Lupango.

Rosal commended AOC for establishi­ng a branch in Legazpi City, emphasizin­g the importance of compliance with government regulation­s.

Lupangco expressed her readiness to fulfill the firm’s vision, set by its founding partners Donnies Alas and Marycris Oplas.

The AOC Legazpi City Branch is located at Unit 202, The Vinson, Rizal Street corner Doña Aurora Street.

The inaugurati­on of AOC Legazpi signifies a significan­t step forward for the organizati­on, furthering its commitment to providing exceptiona­l service to its clients.
