-

SOUTH Asialink Finance Corp. (SAFC), one of the leading and fast-growing financial institutions in the Philippines, proudly announced a remarkable milestone following the triumphant bloodletting activity initiated by its corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm, SAFC Heroes.

Aligned with its Life Hero thrust, advocating health and wellness through the impactful #BeALifeHero campaign, the event took place at the SAFC Head Office in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, on February 2.

This is in collaboration with the Pasig local government unit (LGU) and the Philippine Red Cross, with the valued participation of SAFC’s subsidiary company, Wisefund Finance Corp.

Building upon last year’s breakthrough, where 452 lives were saved through three bloodletting activities in 2023, this year’s initiative kicked off with an impressive 176 lives saved. This accomplishment held special significance as it honors World Cancer Month this February, showcasing SAFC’s commitment to making a meaningful impact on the community’s well-being.

The collaborative spirit exhibited by the partnerships with the Pasig LGU, Philippine Red Cross and Wisefund Finance Corp. underscored the importance of collective action in addressing crucial healthcare needs.

To date, 628 lives have been saved from this initiative.

SAFC Heroes continued to lead initiatives that promote health and wellness, embodying the spirit of the #BeALifeHero campaign. This success marked the beginning of a year filled with impactful contributions to the community.
