Tablescaping with Irene Wicklein
PLUS: Post-Valentine’s get-together at Edi Tekeli’s taverna
STEP into Irene Wicklein’s captivating world of tablescaping, where every meal feels like a special occasion. With her keen eye for detail and passion for aesthetics, Irene elevates ordinary gatherings into extraordinary events, transforming everyday dining into magical moments.
Each of Irene’s tablescapes is meticulously curated to suit the occasion and the people she is hosting. She uses everyday items found in the kitchen or living room to create beautiful centerpieces. From the humble calamansi to vintage cutlery and freshly cut flowers, beauty and practicality blend seamlessly, bringing joy to the senses and sparking lively conversations.
When guests gather around the table, they immediately feel the warmth of her hospitality. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, setting the stage for a delightful meal ahead. But what really makes Irene’s tablescaping special is how it brings people together. Conversations flow easily, laughter fills the air, and friendships deepen as they share in the joy of delicious food and good company.
Meanwhile, Edi Tekeli’s taverna was the venue of the post Valentine’s get together of friends led by Ningning Littaua, Celine Bautista, Sandra Viray, Mariko Javier, Chichi Laperal and Dr. George Sarakinis.
Invited to pose for a photo with the group was Ambassador Joey Antonio who was dining at the same place with some businessmen friends. The group enjoyed the delicious food offered by the restaurant’s owner Turkish Edi Tekeli, like lasagna, salami pizza, Robespierre, tiramisu and panna cotta. They promise to go back and try the other Italian dishes.
