Outstanding Women in Law Enforcement and National Security recognized
PROJECT Outstanding Women in Law Enforcement and National Security (Owlens) Philippines embarks on its annual search to honor the exemplary contributions of Filipino women in the fields of law enforcement and national security.
A brainchild of Republic Defenders (RD) in collaboration with Robinsons Land Corp., the initiative unfolds each March to coincide with International Women’s Month.
Established in 2018 following empowering lectures by RD, this yearly undertaking strives to acknowledge remarkable achievements within the sector.
In previous years, Owlens has featured keynote speakers such as President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and was held at prestigious venues such as Malacañan Palace on March 22, 2023.
Project Owlens aspires to inspire and motivate Filipino women by recognizing outstanding performances that positively impact their respective agencies, communities and the public.
By doing so, Owlens aims to elevate the standards of excellence within the women’s sector of law enforcement and national security, fostering a culture of role modeling that extends beyond professional boundaries.
Moreover, the initiative endeavors to attract highly qualified women to join the ranks of law enforcement and national security.
Nominations for Owlens Philippines 2024 are now open, inviting the public to put forward deserving candidates. RD and Robinsons Land Corp. eagerly anticipate another year of recognition and celebration of the invaluable contributions of Filipino women in these vital sectors.
