Filipino triumphs in Southeast Asia trading competition

-

DAVAO-BASED Filipino trader Glimar Reyes has secured the top spot in the Southeast Asia Trading Competition, surpassing participants from across the region. He won $2,000 and ATFX premium merchandise.

Hosted by ATFX, an internationally acclaimed online broker celebrated for its global brand presence and award-winning services, competitors from Thailand won the second and third places.

Reyes, a 35-year-old dedicated family man working full-time in the food and beverage industry, has demonstrated extraordinary prowess and dedication in trading.

Although he is a part-time trader who began his trading journey in November 2023, his strategic execution and disciplined approach have propelled him to this significant achievement. A friend in Davao introduced him to the world of trading and recommended ATFX for its reliable and commendable brokerage services.

To qualify for the challenge, entrants had to meet several criteria, including opening a new live account during the promotional period, depositing a minimum of $100, achieving a monthly return of at least 10 percent, maintaining a drawdown of 15 percent or less, and opening positions on at least five different trading days.

“This win is unexpected, to be honest. But I am proud of myself that even if I am still new to trading, I can succeed in competitions like this with the right mindset and strategies. Also, it was very helpful that I had the right guidance provided by ATFX coaches,” Reyes said.

ATFX is known for its accolades, including the 2023 Asia’s Trusted Broker award, which speaks of its commitment to excellence in the financial markets.

This triumph is made even more significant with the support of SmarTrade, ATFX’s educational partner in the Philippines, which offers extensive trading education, resources, and free one-on-one coaching. Visit www.atfx. com for more information.
