THE Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), the Philippines’ premier annual motoring event, is set to dazzle attendees once again at the World Trade Center and SMX Convention Center from April 4 to 7, 2024. Now in its 19th year, MIAS has adopted the theme “Bridging the Future,” underscoring the event’s vital role in propelling the automotive industry into new horizons.
Building on the success of MIAS 2023, which drew over 149,000 visitors and featured more than 200 car displays, MIAS 2024 enjoys robust support from both the automotive sector and enthusiasts nationwide. Co-presented by BPI Auto Loans and Shell Philippines, with the endorsement of the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) and Petron Corp., this year’s event promises to be even more captivating. Participating brands include BAIC, Changan, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Subaru, Suzuki, and many others.
MIAS 2024 will make history by spanning two venues simultaneously: the World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTC) and the SMX Convention Center Manila (SMX). With a combined exhibition floor space of 41,000 square meters, attendees will have the opportunity to explore an extensive array of automotive innovations and technologies over the four-day extravaganza. A single ticket grants access to both venues, complemented by complimentary shuttle services between WTC and SMX, making it convenient for attendees to experience everything on offer for just P150.
MIAS 2024 promises an unmatched showcase of automotive excellence, featuring thrilling car launches during the Mobility Marathon. Leading manufacturers will unveil their latest models amid captivating performances, providing a sneak peek into the future of mobility. Enthusiasts can admire the country’s top show cars at the MIAS-Petron Custom Classic Car Competition, where participants vie for the coveted “Best of Show” title while sharing invaluable insights into the art of crafting dream show cars.
The event’s Test Drive Zone offers attendees the chance to test drive their dream vehicles firsthand, while the Truck Zone beckons thrill-seekers to embark on an off-road adventure with a diverse range of trucks, off-road vehicles, and commercial vans. Additionally, spectators can marvel at the awe-inspiring driving skills of British precision driver Russ Swift at the Russ Swift Stunt Show, where he will showcase his Guinness World Recordholding maneuvers behind the wheel of the latest Subarus.
