Ascott introduces 2 beachfront properties to expanding portfolio

-

THE Ascott Ltd. Philippines, a leading lodging owner-operator, proudly announces the groundbreaking signing of two properties.

These new signings not only expand Ascott’s portfolio but also signify a strategic shift to include resort and cultural destinations in its management scope.

The first property, situated amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Siargao, marks a historic moment as it introduces Ascott’s esteemed Preference label to the Philippines for the first time.

Scheduled to open its doors in 2027, the 45-room development will feature beach and garden villas alongside lagoon hotel suites, catering to diverse accommodation preferences.

Guests can anticipate a range of facilities, including a resort pool, eco-gym, wellness spa, all-day dining restaurant, beach bar, events hall and lounge, promising a truly immersive tropical getaway.

The second property, Citadines Mactan Cebu, marks Ascott’s entry into Mactan Island, Cebu — a strategic hub for meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions and leisure activities.

Scheduled to open in January 2028, the 200-room property will be part of a dynamic mixed-use resort development, featuring a restaurant, guest lounge, ballroom, pool, spa and launderette. This property underscores Ascott’s edge in bridging business travel and relocation with leisure and recreation.

These two signings mark a pivotal moment for Ascott in the Philippines, as they represent the company’s first foray into resort properties and leisure destinations and the introduction of the Preference brand to the country.

This also brings Ascott’s portfolio in the Philippines to 32 properties, marking a significant milestone in its growth within the country’s dynamic hospitality market.
