Building upon the outstanding achievements of its predecessor, the new Vantage GT4 is poised to make an immediate impact in GT racing’s junior categories. Leveraging performance and technology enhancements from the newly unveiled Vantage road car, this latest iteration of the Vantage GT4 boasts a range of chassis, aerodynamic, drivetrain and efficiency improvements, ensuring heightened competitiveness on the track.
Designed, engineered and constructed by Aston Martin Racing (AMR), the official GT racing partner of Aston Martin since 2005, the new Vantage GT4 benefits from AMR’s extensive experience and expertise in producing championship-winning GT race cars.
The Vantage GT4 program builds upon the success of its predecessor, utilizing advancements derived from the new Vantage road car to achieve further performance gains in the latest generation race car.
Adhering closely to GT4 regulations, the GT4 Vantage shares approximately 80 percent of its structural and mechanical architecture with its production counterpart, featuring a bonded aluminum chassis equipped with a full custom roll cage for enhanced safety.
Powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and transmission based on Vantage road car components, the Vantage GT4 features electronic control systems tailored for optimal performance and adherence to strict “balance of performance” criteria.
Chassis modifications ensure compliance with regulations while enhancing driving dynamics, with new two-way adjustable KW dampers contributing to improved precision and control on the track.
Visually, the Vantage GT4 closely mirrors the design of the new Vantage, with aerodynamic optimizations achieved through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis.
Production of the new Vantage GT4 is underway, with several units already delivered to customer teams and orders for more than 40 units secured for the 2024 season.
