-

POLKADOT enthusiasts, builders and visionaries convened at Sari Sari Makati on February 23 for Polkadot Connect Philippines, an event coorganized by Bitskwela, Polkadot Insider, Open Guild and ATT3ND.

The evening commenced with Jiro Reyes, chief executive officer of Bitskwela, announcing the collaboration with Polkadot Insider and the launch of the eagerly awaited “Polkadot in 5 Minutes” course.

Elaborating on this partnership, he explained how Bitskwela, a Web3 edutech company, will leverage Filipino key opinion leaders, Web3 communities and student organizations to promote understanding of Polkadot’s interoperability, modularity and security features.

Cris Nguyen, a core contributor of Polkadot Insider, shared insights on Polkadot’s vision and how they foresee the Philippines leveraging Polkadot to realize its potential for more project development.

Echoing this focus on education, Patty Arro from Polkadot Search Engine Advertising delivered an extensive presentation on Polkadot’s core principles, which are scalability, interoperability and governance.

She emphasized how these pillars are essential to building a decentralized and interconnected Web3 ecosystem.

The protocol’s architecture is built around the relay chain, which underpins shared security and consensus across the Polkadot network. Attached to this are the parachains, which connect to the relay chain to ensure unified security and consensus, fostering an integrated and interoperable network.

The event concluded on a high note, with the attendees convinced of what Polkadot has to offer. A sense of optimism and excitement filled the room, leaving everyone eager to learn more, build impactful projects and contribute to the Polkadot ecosystem.

Bullish on Polkadot projects, indeed!
